Touring the South West for 11 rounds of Cyclo-Cross action, starting on Sunday 11 September in Wellington, Somerset.
Cyclo-cross racing is a traditional cross country winter sport for cyclists. Competitors cycle at high speeds whilst negotiating corners, banks and bunny hopping obstacles. Negotiating mud, steep banks and low hurdles often forces the riders to shoulder their bikes, and in many cases this technique can be the difference between winning and losing races.
Round 10: Taunton Night Cross. Saturday 10 December, Castle School Sports Centre, Taunton.
Alongside the league race, a GO RIDE RACE for ages 16 years and under, using a slightly adjusted part of the same lap/course of that of the league racing at a separate time. Entry level racing, so come and have a go! Safe, fun and an opportunity to meet with your local club, to continue your interest in the sport of cycling.
