The planning process at Plymbridge is well underway for both the cycle trails and the café.
The plans have received quite a lot of attention, stirring up both support and opposition. A meeting of a group of local residents, held on the evening of Monday 12th September, was attended by representatives of the National Trust and Forestry Commission, lead partner in the cycling project. Residents aired a number of concerns over the plans, and in response the National Trust has produced a document posted on their Facebook page. This seeks to clarify points and queries arising from the planning applications.
Full details of the planning applications can be seen on Plymouth City Council’s Planning webpages. Alternatively, they can be viewed at the First Stop Civic Centre and at Plymouth Libraries where public internet facilities are provided. The planning application number for the café build is 11/01074/FUL and for the trail build it is 11/01254/FUL.
Latest: We believe both planning applications will be considered at a Planning Committee Meeting of Plymouth City Council on 20 October 2011.
