Riders of tomorrow to cheer on Tour of Britain

Kentisbeare Junior Cycling Club is determined to share the excitement of the Tour of Britain as it travels through Devon on 15 September.

Twenty-five riders will be riding down after school on Friday from their base in the village of Kentisbeare in mid Devon to Okehampton Youth Hostel for dinner B&B at the hostel, ready to take their place to cheer the riders through the town on the Saturday morning.

Stuart McFadzean, the ride leader commented: ‘Here is a living example of the value of the Tour of Britain to Devon – we’ll be spending over £1,000 in local, small businesses on our trip to see the Tour and our young riders will have an unforgettable experience’

Kentisbeare Junior Cycling Club has been active in Mid-Devon since 2007. They have regular local, national and even international rides.
