Cycle enthusiasts and those getting to grips with cycling have even more good reasons to visit Ashton Court Estate as a new bike hire facility has just opened for business. But it’s more than just an opportunity to hire bikes; the new facility also offers state-of-the art demo bikes, spares and accessories, bike repairs and bike skills coaching so you can take cycling to the next level, learn to ride faster or even take on jumps with confidence.
Pedal Progression opened in July and are located in the new building on the golf course, next to the start of the award-winning bike trails and park cafe.
“We’re delighted to be working with this new business,” said Councillor Gus Hoyt, Bristol’s assistant mayor with responsibility for environment. “Our partnership with Pedal Progression will enable more people to experience the freedom and exhilaration of off-road cycling on some of the UK’s top cycle trails. The additional bike services on offer means cyclists can get their bikes checked and repaired and improve their bike skills.”
Sam Fowler, co-owner of Pedal Progression, added: “Pedal Progression is a leading skills coaching and bike hire company. We’re thrilled with our new base at Ashton Court Estate, Bristol and aim to inspire, excite and develop skills for mountain bikers and off-road cyclists in Bristol and across the South West.”
Top-of the range bike hire starts from just £8 per hour, increasing to £16 for three hours. There are some hire bikes available for children. For more information visit the website or tel. .
