Two of the three routes are now open.
- The Petit Tour de Manche is a 428km circular route through Dorset from Weymouth to Poole and through Normandy from Cherbourg to Saint-Malo.
- The Velodyssey Devon-Bretagne is part of the Eurovelo 1, a 440km ‘there and back’ itinerary from Ilfracombe in Devon to Nantes in Brittany.
- The longer Tour de Manche from Poole to Plymouth, Roscoff to Cherbourg will be open in Summer 2013.
Speakers, including Visit Britain, Sustrans and Brittany Tourism, will outline the CYCLE WEST project and present the economic benefits of cycle tourism. You will hear first-hand how businesses have developed and taken advantage of cycle routes in their location to improve their bottom line.
